How the stars are earned
Every product on this site carries a star rating from 0 to 5, awarded in half-star steps. That rating rolls up weighted sub-scores, and value for money carries the heaviest weight, ahead of all-in-one scope, ease of use, AI engine coverage, and reporting quality. When you see 4.5/5 stars, it means the product delivered where your budget feels it.
Stars come from use, not from brochures. During our June and July 2026 test cycle we opened our own account on each product, set up the same brand-tracking project in all of them, and priced the same team on every plan. A feature only counts once we watch it work.
When ratings change
Star ratings are living verdicts. We re-test after a major release, re-check every listed price at least quarterly, and note inside each review what moved a rating up or down and on what date.
When a number goes stale
Every price, plan limit, and feature claim on this site is re-checked against the vendor’s own pages on a regular pass. When that pass turns up a stale number, we fix it quickly and log what changed inside the affected review, with a date on the correction.
